Duncan Pitfield is a renowned figure in the food and hospitality sectors, helping to develop and launch some of the top venues in the UK and beyond, including Michelin Star-winning restaurant Aquavit.
The existing site had outdated content and lacked the relevancy and interest to grab the attention of a discerning target audience. The brief was to create a slick website experience that showcased the services of DJP Hospitality in a visual and vibrant way, giving the company a sharp and cutting-edge online presence. It needed a light and airy feel, with users able to navigate to key content easily. The needs of users on smart devices had to be addressed, with careful thought given to maximising the user experience on all platforms.
Aimed at a high-end audience, the end result is sleek and modern site, with fine details and functionality that give it a sophisticated feel. The layouts were created to showcase imagery and communicate the calibre of the companys projects. Creating that wow factor is central to the work of DJP and the site has been designed to reflect this.
Careful consideration was also given to the relationship between text and image, giving all content enough room to breathe and communicate effectively, without overwhelming the user.
The project features a fully responsive build and a custom content management integration.
