"Personal portfolio of Rakesh - UI/UX Designer & Front-end Developer" second review
Crafting beautiful things from design phase and all the way to finished and developed phase.
Like the minimalistic and clean approach. That gradient as you're branding element is great! The overall feeling while browsing is also good. The subtle animation-delays are giving that nice delays between animations.
A minor issue is that gradient text doesn't seem to work on Internet explorer.
Some suggestions about the overall layout and the UI & UX:
- That gradient line between the projects doesn't seem like it is necessary - the space between projects would be enough (selector: .iamrakesh .main-content.works .project + .project:before).
- I would rather use the h3 (headlines of your projects) with no white text-shadow and tweak the pictures a little so that the black heading would look contrasted.
- You are now focusing more on quantity over quality. You have many different projects listed, but I would much rather see some more in depth explanations and presentation of your thinking process.
Overall, a nice looking one pager.
