"Hélas Limited" first review
Karan is a Creative Director/ Visual Designer with 6+ years of experience in Digital Art Direction, Branding and Print Design. His design style tends to be visually rich and memorable.
Personally, Ive never been a great fan of the whole retro collage design style. It just didnt seem that impactful when compared to really strong elegant visuals. With that being said though, this approach does seem to work perfectly for this particular brand.
Also, underneath all the visual noise seems to be a really well executed site. I especially liked the Shop page with perfectly timed animations and with just the right amount of Easing & Speed.
The only thing Id do differently would be to build on the theme and create an equally crazy Lookbook page. But other than that, Kudos on a job well done.
