In previous version of brandOn we had a loader that depended on how much content was loaded. This is the concept of a typical progress bar.

To achieve a smoother animation, we had to remove the dependence. Now, loader changes its state constantly over a defined period of time. The more time it takes to load all the content the slower the animation.
